Robert was born in 1975 near Frankfurt/Main.
At the age of 16 Robert didn't know exactly in which direction it should go musically, but a stay in the USA in 1997 set the course for him.

He was a founding member of the band Boxer, composed tracks in the R&B genre and contributed 6 tracks to the album 'Stick Together' produced by Edo Zanki and opened for Elton John, Whitney Houston and Eros Ramazotti with 'Boxer'.

Robert joined the AER Acoustic Family in 2003.

He bought his first AER amplifier in 2003 when he started his career as a touring songwriter. It was a Compact 60 (first model), used for 450 Euros. This amp has since accompanied him all over Europe at thousands of concerts as a stage amp, monitor or even as a mini PA, and still does.
In the 20 years this amp actually lived only in his tour van, and except the mounting plate on the bottom of the amplifier, the amp had not one single repair.
