Kümmert is using the past two pandemic years to work intensively on the new album with his two collaborators Stefan Kahne and Michael Germer. The new album with the expressive title "Working class hero" will be released in April 2023 (Soulfood Music) and covers all facets of the exceptional artist, from powerful rock'n'roll numbers to brilliant ballads. And it includes something else: a newly recorded version of his former "The Voice" blind audition song "Rocket Man", originally by Elton John, which Andreas Kümmert turned into his very own style. To this day, this title has earned him the nickname "Rocket Man", a paraphrase of Andreas Kümmert: a down-to-earth, completely grounded character who suddenly explodes on stage.

By the time he took part in the TV show "The Voice Of Germany" in 2013,
he had long since gained a foothold in the music business.

Nevertheless, the TV show, which he eventually won with his own composition "Simple Man", was his breakthrough.

2023 marks the tenth anniversary of this. Andreas is still consistently successful and remains one of the most sought-after artists in soul/rock/blues. His characterful blues and soul voice and his talent for great goosebumps songs carry thim through Germany and Europe year after year.
